Both sperm and eggs take approximately 90 days to mature, meaning the reproductive cells present today began developing three months prior. For this reason, both men and women should prepare their bodies for conception for a minimum of 90 days before actively trying to conceive.

Fertility is 50/50, and depending on individual health and wellness levels, a preparation period of 3 to 6 months is generally suitable. However, if you have not previously prioritized your health, a longer timeframe of 12 to 24 months may be more appropriate to optimize fertility and overall well-being.

Beyond physical health, it’s important to remember that emotions, chemicals, toxins, trauma, stress, and heavy metals can all be passed on to your child both in and out of the womb. Preparing your body for conception is a profound act of love and responsibility, giving your child the best possible start in life.
