What You Need To Know About Parasites

A parasite is an organism that lives on or in a host and gets its food from or at the expense of its host. In other words, the parasite uses the resources of the host its living inside of, such as the food that host eats, in order to survive.


Often the root cause of many illnesses, parasites are more common than you think!

How do you get parasites?

There are multiple ways of getting a parasite, you can get a parasite from eating raw foods (including sushi), eating undercooked foods, contaminated pork, walking barefoot over an infected area, cleaning out your cat’s litter box, eating contaminated food, drinking contaminated water.
